Myth—God Heals Everyone

For me, God will have to deal with every aspect of Jackie’s death and absence from my side. I will get my chance to understand when I go to join

Jackie in Heaven. God has said: “Do not lean on your own understanding.” Make God an integral part of your own life and you’ll find His peace.

Stress takes over life just like pain takes over life. When your body is

in pain, all of your body’s resources are working to just deal with the pain. I am happy to say that Jackie was relatively pain free except for two really bad days. This in itself is unusual for pancreatic cancer, which can be quite horrific. A variety of pain medications were used to keep Jackie pain free so

her body could do its best with its God given innate healing powers. She was conscious until the last 24 hours of life when it became necessary to dramatically increase her pain narcotics. Did her pancreas burst open or start to leak? The chemicals inside the pancreas cannot exist outside of it except within the intestinal area. It is like an acid that would literally eat

through all of the other organs.

About four hours before Jackie took her last breath, our dog Annie jumped up on the bed next to Jackie and howled aloud. She immediately left

the bed and never came back. It was the first time our cocker spaniel ever howled and it left all of us wondering at the time what it was all about. She is almost nine years old and was Jackie’s dog. By spiritual reckoning, we believe that Jackie’s soul left her body at that very moment. The event that

her dog Annie signaled was the departure of her spirit-soul. It took about four more hours before her body stopped breathing on its own.

If you can understand that Jackie’s soul actually left her body before

her body physically stopped functioning in all respects [stopped breathing, heart stopped, etc.], you can understand why Jesus told the thief next to him that he would be in Paradise that very day with Jesus. The soul doesn’t need transportation to Heaven nor does it wait for all bodily functions to cease.

When the soul leaves the body, it takes off for home. We knew that Jackie’s essence [her spirit-soul] was nowhere to be found in the bedroom by the time her body ended its last physical function. It was very obvious she had gone home. The fact we observed this spiritual reality gives credence to a

statement in the Gospel of Phillip about Jesus’ own physical death.
