Myth—God Heals Everyone

You must exert your own will power to change your own bad habits.

No one can do it for you. If your bad health habits lead to your premature death, you only have yourself to blame. Systematically killing your own body is not God’s plan. His is a natural death, an appointed time. Likewise, the 11-year old boy just killed had his own life cut short by an adult driver

exercising her own 66-year old free will. Killing that boy with her car was not God’s plan. To the extent your free will intersects with another’s and it results in their premature death, it is not the plan of God Almighty! His plan is defined in Genesis in which He says we can live to be 120 years old and in

Jeremiah where a future with hope is promised. Of course, this assumes you are smarter than the mythical frog and are also not accidentally killed.

“For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future

and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11 NLT

Don’t blame all the evil in this earth on God Almighty. Man’s sin, free will, ignorance and errant ways are responsible for a lot of it and the

balance of the evil is Satan at work. Aside from the long life and future of hope, God also provides us with good things. That is God’s nature.

“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and

comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.” James 1:17

“And we know that all things work together for good to

those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28

We Have A Responsibility For Our Own Heath!

So we can influence our longevity by our health habits. Our life can also be cut short by events beyond our control. However, in both cases, a life ends prematurely; it does not end by God’s design. God’s plan was to have us reach our “appointed time.” Now, let’s examine some graphics.
