Myth—God Heals Everyone

Despite my strong confidence in the Lord and in His ability to take

me through yet another cash flow crunch, I have learned something of this physical realm. I have learned that even though I think I am doing well, my body might inform me that I am not doing so well. To the degree we can walk with our spirit, all is well. But, if the flesh gets some control, stress

will manifest itself in our bodies. This is true whether or not we will admit it or for that matter whether we even realize it. Do you listen to your body? I personally can absorb an incredible amount of stress. I will still be standing when all around me are totally stressed out. Why I am like this I do not fully

understand. I have a natural desire to trust in God and operate in faith. This is not to say that stress doesn’t rack my body at times. It does. I have also experienced a mind-body separation. This happens when you think you are well, but your body tells you something different with a cold or illness.

Therefore, low stress is an attribute of healing. Jackie and I were under enormous stress the last three years. There is little doubt that it impacted her more than I even if she hid it somewhat. In the realm of cancer invading our bodies, stress is one of the contributing factors. Your peace in

this earthly life will be in direct proportion to your ability to simply yield your life over to God’s control. It is not easy and not necessarily related to whether one is saved or has obtained eternal salvation. It’s strong faith.
