Myth—God Heals Everyone

I have been told several times that I am fearless. Indeed, I stopped

fearing man some time ago. However, I do sincerely fear my God. What is often mistaken, as fearlessness, is simply a strong confidence in God.

“In the fear of the Lord there is strong confidence, and His

children will have a place of refuge.” Proverbs 14:26

When you reach this level of confidence with God, it won’t matter what your checkbook looks like or how the world is treating you. It also

won’t matter if your truck gets a dented driver’s side door because you hit someone’s bumper. Nor will it matter if you just think you are unlucky and that others get all the breaks in life. Strong confidence in God is what you get when you walk in His light.

I tell you this because today I have exactly $76.62 cash to my name. Yes, it can cause some stress if you let it. My daughter Patty also informed me this afternoon that she dented the passenger’s door on her husband’s new Chevrolet truck. Yes, that too can cause some stress if you let it. If you

walk in God’s light, you have to look upward and not around you from an earthly perspective. My friend Robert taught me during times of trouble, you need to pray it up to God and play it down on this earth. Those are good words of advice for as long as you focus on God, you will have peace. This

is what Isaiah has taught us. Take it to heart and see what God will do.

“God will keep you in perfect peace, when your mind is stayed on Him, because you trust in God.” Isaiah 26:3

When you seek God, you can understand why the Psalmist teaches

that you will not lack any good thing in Psalm 34:10. You will also understand why Jesus asked the question to his apostles: “Did you lack anything?” The answer was no, even when Jesus sent them out without any money. I have lived through a cycle of almost zero cash with God several

times. I bear witness to you that God has always made a way where there seemed to be no way. Admittedly, such times will test your faith in God.
