Myth—God Heals Everyone

In the first case, the unrighteous Christian is firmly condemned to Hell exactly for their belief that sin is now somehow okay through Jesus

Christ. They have literally treated the blood of Jesus Christ as a common thing and insulted God’s Spirit of grace. Go back and study Hebrews 10:26 if this is still unclear to you. Continued sin should be a “fearful thing” for believers. Even worse are those who engage in idolatry worshipping Jesus.

In the second case, the righteous Christian is just one more example of another child of God who is confused about Jesus. They are no different than a Jewish or Muslim child of God who also does not understand Jesus.

Remember that to “practice righteousness is to be righteous just like Christ.”

“Children, do not be misled: anyone who does what is right is righteous, just as Christ is righteous.” 1 John 3:7 REB

When you walk in God’s light as Jesus Christ did, you have escaped the pollutions of this world. There is no going back. It is a one-way street.

“People can know our Lord and savior Jesus Christ and

escape the world’s filth. But if they get involved in this filth again and give in to it, they are worse off than they were before.” 2 Peter 2:20 GW

I want to mention all of this to make something very clear to you. Accepting Jesus Christ in your heart should be a new beginning for you with God. It is a time to grasp God’s hand and let Him guide you. It should not be the end of some spiritual quest. I.E. Some churches put people through a

confirmation process. At the end of that process, they accept Christ and become a member of the church. The next duty is usually to make a pledge to the church. In many instances, this is the last time the person picks up a Bible. Such a church has failed God. Instead of teaching the beginning of a

new life with God, confirmation classes teach young people that they have learned all they need to know about God. When you really accept Christ, you begin a new walk with God for the rest of your life. That is salvation!

Christ Is A New Beginning, Not The End Of A Journey!
