Myth—Giving 10% Is A Tithe

The teaching in the Gospel of Truth about the Sabbath truly resonates

within my own spirit and understanding of God. As you learned earlier, do not waste a lot of time on the Gnostic Gospels3. However there are a few books with interesting teachings like the one above, which I cited earlier in chapter 14. See page 479. I am aware that some might think I could not be

of God since I have referenced a Gnostic Gospel. However, truth seekers will search for truth without preconceived notions about what is useful to read or not read without first examining the content under question. There is enough canonical support in the Gnostic books I cited as useful to convince

me they are reasonable to study. Of course, then there is the spiritual insight God has given me as comfort. It is His apostolic calling and the reason this book even exists. To those who condemn me and say I am wrong, I invite you to write your rebuttal and I will surely read it carefully and respond.

If you choose to join a large church, you also need to join a small group of believers to fellowship with and study Scripture. A small group of 7-12 people will allow each of you to deepen your understanding of God’s Word. That is because in a small group you can give each other feedback

and uphold each other in your faith and studies. Don’t expect anything from a big church except a one-way dump of what most likely will be an apostate message. Only a rare pastor would allow a two-way discussion with his congregation. It’s sad, since our God allows such an opportunity for you.

Who should you mainly fellowship with? It is God and His Son. You won’t find any church in this verse.

“And [this] fellowship that we have [which is a

distinguishing mark of Christians] is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ (the Messiah).” 1 John 1:3 AMP

There are many reasons to join a large church, but make sure it is

firmly focused on the word of God and not man made or denominational doctrines. You might join a church for its adult Bible study classes or even for children or teenage fellowship groups for your kids. Whatever the reason you join, you are voluntarily accepting the churches criteria. Don’t

fall for the apostate message that “you are planted here” and “have no right to leave.” You are only planted where your spirit feels at home.
