Myth—Giving 10% Is A Tithe

Paul said: “But he is a Jew who is one inwardly, and [true]

circumcision is of the heart, a spiritual and not a literal [matter]. His praise is not from men but from God.” Romans 2:29 AMP

“You [are like] unfaithful wives [having illicit love affairs with the world and breaking your marriage vow to God]! Do you not know that being the world’s friend is being God’s enemy? So whoever chooses to be a friend of the world takes his stand as an enemy of God. Or do you

suppose that the Scripture is speaking to no purpose that says, the Spirit whom He has caused to dwell in us yearns over us and He yearns for the Spirit [to be welcomed] with a jealous love?” James 4:4-5 AMP

Paul said: “For [as far as this world is concerned] you have died, and your [new, real] life is hidden with Christ in God.” Colossians 3:3 AMP

In contrast to the wealth promised by the tithe preachers, the Word tells you to be transformed in a different way. Instead of being the next wealthy individual on the block owning expensive homes, cars, planes and

other things—the Word teaches a new and different focus for true believers.

1. Don’t be conformed to the world. 2. Be conformed to Christ’s sufferings.

3. Be conformed to Christ’s death. 4. Be a jealous lover of God’s indwelling Spirit. 5. Be conformed to Christ’s promise of a glorious eternal body.

Remember we learned that the “giveaway” of a Zone 3 church is its focus on worldly things? Well, you can see from the above verses exactly how dangerous such a focus is. Therefore, in addition to placing you under the curse of the Law, the tithe preacher also makes you an enemy of God.

I’m sorry, the diamonds don’t belong to believers, they belong to God and He will distribute them as He deems is in His best interest, not yours.
