Myth—Giving 10% Is A Tithe

Before we look at some of the apostasy being taught by the culprits in

the pulpits in order to grab your money, let’s take a close look at what the tithe is actually supposed to be as given to us in the word of God. I will talk about the modern tithe teachings that lead so many astray in a short while.

Do you remember we learned that no one could lead you astray when you possess first hand knowledge of God’s Word? Well, brother or sister, what you will learn in this chapter is a good illustration of how you can be led around like a ringed-nose cow because of your lack of such first hand

knowledge. You will also learn just how easy it is for the preacher to empty your pocketbook when you are ignorant of scripture. Perhaps the biggest question that should now arise in your mind is this: “If the pastor would lie about the tithe to get your money, what else is he or she willing to lie about?” Sexual intimacy with your spouse? Pastoral adultery? Church

theft? Healing? True faith? The Law? Homosexuality? Etc.?

Look, if your pastor does not understand what the Bible really teaches about the tithe in the above citations, you are listening to someone that is

spiritually blind to God’s Word; get out of Satan’s den! Yes, if you were thinking it was about time to exit a church focused on the things of men, the truth of God’s tithe should be all you need to leave and find a new church. That is, assuming that you do not accept any false teachings from the word

of God from those who claim to be “anointed.” Look, if one is anointed of God, he or she does not speak against the Word! Such people are ministers of Satan “appearing righteous.” My guess is that many people will remain in their apostate ministry even when they do learn of the truth. That is what

many did at Solid Rock. Yet, verily I say unto you, God will still hold you accountable to His truth regardless of what you believe.

Once you know the truth, to continue on supporting a ministry that

lies is not going to win you points with God. To know the truth and then support lies is to be lawless. It puts you into the group that Jesus said he would reject. Remember the second prophecy? “They perish because they did not love the truth!” Take heed. Let’s look closer now at what the “Tithe

Law” in the Word says we should really do to tithe. The instructions from God are not open to modern manipulation and I will explain to you why.
