Myth—Giving 10% Is A Tithe

Tithing Instructions From God & His Son*!

Just by studying the opening verses, you learn the following facts about the tithe instructions from God and His Son*. Note: Bible citation remains the same for each item below until the next citation is provided.

1. You shall surely tithe each year. [Deut. 14:22] 2. You tithe from the produce of your field. 3. You tithe the YIELD [increase] of the seed produced by your field. 4. You ought to obey these matters of the Law*. [Matt. 23:23]

5. You shall eat the tithe before God. [Deut. 14:23] 6. You shall eat the tithe in the place God chooses. 7. You shall eat the grain, wine, oil, and firstlings. 8. You shall eat the tithe to learn to reverently fear God.

9. If the distance is too far, convert the tithe to money. [Deut. 14:24] 10. Then carry the money to God’s place of worship. [Deut. 14:25] 11. Then spend the money on your heart’s desires. [Deut. 14:26] 12. Throw a celebration and rejoice with your family.

13. If you want, get some strong drink too. 14. Consume the tithe and rejoice before the Lord. 15. Don’t forget the minister at your tithe party. [Deut. 14:27] 16. Ministers have no inheritance [property].

17. Consume your tithe before God two of three years. [Deut. 14:28] 18. The third year, use the tithe to stock the food shelves. 19. Feed and satisfy the Levites from the food shelf. [Deut. 14:29] 20. Feed and satisfy the stranger from the food shelf.

21. Feed and satisfy the temporary resident from the food shelf. 22. Feed and satisfy the fatherless from the food shelf. 23. Feed and satisfy the widow from the food shelf. 24. Take care of people and God will bless your work.

25. You ought to tithe as part of the Law*. [Matt. 23:23] 26. You ought to do right as part of the Law*. 27. You ought to have justice as part of the Law*. 28. You ought to have mercy as part of the Law*. 29. You ought to have fidelity as part of the Law*.
