Myth—Giving 10% Is A Tithe

Go Directly To The Father And Ask Him!

Jesus said: “At that time you won’t need to ask me for anything. The truth is, you can go directly to the Father and ask Him, and He will grant your request because you use my name. You haven’t done this before. Ask, using my

name, and you will receive, and you will have abundant joy.” John 16:23-24 NLT

If you truly understand what Christ is saying to you about directly

communicating with God, you will realize that the modern day church has tried to reinsert itself between you and God. Yet the Bible makes it clear that no one stands between you and God. Not even Christ, your mediator. By nature Christ is there to help you as needed. He is your one and only

mediator with God. This does not make him a go between you and God or else Christ would not have told you to “go directly to the Father.” In stark contrast, Moses was an intermediary between the Israelites and God. The people of Israel did not talk directly with God like you and I can as a result

of “being in Christ.” Get used to it and understand what Christ has done.

The veil of the temple has been ripped in two and the temple building is now completely destroyed. Today, there is a new and different temple

that God wants to dwell in. It is the temple of your body built of flesh and not a temple structure built of brick, wood and mortar.

“For there [is only] one God, and [only] one mediator

between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.” 1 Timothy 2:5 AMP

FACT: Your body is now the temple God seeks to dwell in.

“Do you not know that your body is the temple (the very sanctuary) of the Holy Spirit who lives within you, whom you have received [as a gift] from God? You are not your own.” 1 Corinthians 6:19 AMP
