Myth—Giving 10% Is A Tithe

The Sabbath Lord Dwells Inside People of Faith!

If God is in your heart like He is in mine, everyday will be a Sabbath day and there will be nothing special about any day of the week. That is because I am in a constant state of fellowship, prayer and worship day and night with God. Every moment I am alive is spiritually special to me and I

cannot stop thinking about or talking with God. Isn’t that what Paul meant when he said we should pray without ceasing? Yes, it is possible to live continually in God’s Spirit. Those who are in faith know what that means. And the more you walk with God, the deeper He will take your faith.

If you grasp the truth of these Sabbath statements, you may be able understand the following teaching found in the Gnostic Gospel of Truth.2

“He labored even on the Sabbath for the sheep which he found fallen into the pit. He saved the life of that sheep bringing it up from the pit in order that you may understand fully what that Sabbath is, you who possess full understanding.”

“It is a day in which it is not fitting that salvation be idle, so that you may speak of that Heavenly day which has no night and of the sun which does not set because it is perfect. Say then

in your heart that you are this perfect day and that in you the light which does not fail dwells.”

Verily I say to you that the Sabbath is indeed within me day and night

because the Lord of the Sabbath dwells inside of me. Therefore, there is no longer a need for a ceremonial day for me to worship God. Every day is a day of worship for me. And I am free, as Paul has taught, from the physical aspects of the Sabbath. This does not mean I do not need fellowship. The

issue of denying corporate fellowship, however, does not necessarily mean assembling in a church building. It has more to do with “watching over one another” through the godly support of Bible believing friends. Together in the Lord, we uphold one another as we each progress in our faith and evolve to the point where the Sabbath is indeed a “perfect day in each one of us.”
