Myth—Giving 10% Is A Tithe

In Exodus 20 you will find the contract between God and Israel,

which contains all of the “Ten Commandments.” In Exodus 21, you will find the “Rights of Persons.” In Exodus 21:33, you will find “Rights of Property.” In Exodus 22:16, you will find God’s idea of “Proper Conduct.” In Exodus 23, you will find God’s idea of “Proper Justice.”

Church & Sabbath Laws No Longer Apply!

In Exodus 31:13, you learn that as part of the contract, the “Sabbath is a sign” between God and Israel. Do you remember that Paul taught us in

Colossians 2:16-17 not to be judged by anyone concerning the “Sabbath?” What Paul means is that the Sabbath Law with its ceremonial and behavioral rules no longer apply to the Christian. Take a deep breath for a moment now and let me fully explain what Paul is teaching us about the “Sabbath.”
