Myth—Giving 10% Is A Tithe

“[But] without (outside Heaven*) are the dogs and those who

turn aside the temporary resident from his right and fear not Me, says the Lord of hosts.” Malachi 3:5 AMP

“Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they

may have the right to the tree of life and may enter through the gates into the city.” Revelation 22:14 NKJV

Yes, Paul states that the ceremonial laws and others no longer apply,

but he also confirms that the “laws of sexual sins” contained in Leviticus 18 must apply as do the penalties contained in Leviticus 20. Consider Paul’s writing that homosexuals will not get into Heaven. Then consider Leviticus 20:13 in which the penalty for homosexuality is death. In the end, are these

not the same result from God? It is obvious that our personal behavior still matters to God, even if we do not have to obey some laws.

Remember that these verses do not apply to the righteous because

they operate in faith with God seeking to please Him. They simply do not commit the evil that invokes the rejection of Christ. If they do engage in such evil, they are simply not saved. They are only pretenders and will be confronted by Jesus as he says to them: “I never knew you.”

Did you observe part of the Ten Commandments in the above verses? Thou shall not murder? Thou shall not commit idolatry? Thou shall not commit adultery? Thou shall not steal? Thou shall not bear false witness?

These are familiar Bible teachings, aren’t they? They are commandments, which still remain active behavioral standards with other parts of the Law.
