Chapter 11: God’s Eternal Character

Judgmentalism is a close cousin to rationalization. When you are judgmental, you rely on your own sense of what is right and wrong. You
fail to submit to God’s righteousness as the Apostle Paul teaches us to do. In a literal sense, you use a set of lenses that color everything in life the way you want it to look. However, doing this totally misses the opportunity to have any perspective on God’s eternal character and His bigger picture of what is actually going on around us. You must stop using your own set of
criteria for what is right and wrong if you want eternal life. Only God’s idea of right and wrong will matter at the time of your judgment with God.
God’s big picture has many elements in it and we only get to see
enough to understand that there is more to life. The big question mark represents all of the many things of God we do not even have a clue about.
