In modern day parlance, the message is simply: “Get a new life!” It has always been God’s character to continually offer you a chance to repent and start anew with Him. God sees your repentance as sincere when He witnesses the righteous behavior that stems and flows out of a changed and

new heart. A heart within us that allows us to obey His “rules that give life.”

God Judges According To Our Ways!

God will judge all of us according to what we have done in our lives. This is our motives, thoughts, actions, deeds, etc. Christians who willfully sin betray themselves as evil people destined for punishment. Then there is

the matter of Christian confusion over the issue of judging. I talked to my friend Mike in Wisconsin last week. He met an Episcopalian and inquired of him exactly what the Episcopal Church and his beliefs were.

To Mike’s astonishment, this Episcopalian stated that his church did not believe in judging anyone for any thing. If so, I guess that explains how their bishops sanctioned and even blessed the sin of homosexuality in their church. I also read a recent comment from another Episcopalian who said:

“I don’t really understand all the Bible has to say about homosexuality.”

Judge not lest ye be judged. How often have you heard those words espoused from the pulpit? Today, in Christianity, it is not popular to judge

anyone in the Church. It is not just Episcopalians that have the mistaken idea that judging is not an acceptable Christian behavior. After all, Christ said he did not come to judge the world, so why should we judge others? Once again we have a clear demonstration of the ignorance of God’s Word

and also the ignorance of God’s eternal character in the Church.

Let me state that this type of message is often deliberately taught by preachers to cover their own sin and the sins of their congregation. But does the Bible really teach us not to judge others, to hide sin in the Church?

On this side of the issue of judging, the message to Christians is that you do not judge anyone for anything if you are really saved. Let God take
