Moses fear and love for God from his upright heart allowed Moses to both dialogue with God and fall down on his face in worship and respect for whom God was. Moses is an example of what the New Testament means

when it says “Perfect love casts out fear.” Love for God from an upright heart is a counterbalance to the fear of God and both of these attributes allow us to keep God’s commandments. Indeed, “Oh that all of us had such a heart for God.” Moses certainly did. So did Jesus. Likewise, you too can have such a heart. You just need to get your biblical facts straight and only

worship God and not worship a messenger of God [Jesus].

God is a God of love, but make no mistake about His promise of sure punishment for sin. If you think you can use Jesus as a kind of justification

for willful sin in your life, you need to carefully consider that God is also a punisher of those who “sin.” Study carefully the verses below and explain to me exactly which ones you think Jesus has changed for you.

God says: “I will judge you [each of us] for the way you have lived and will make you pay for everything you have done that I hate.” Ezekiel 7:8 NCV

God says: “I will show no pity, and I will not hold back punishment. I will pay you back for the way you have lived and the things you have done that I hate. Then you will know that I am the Lord who punishes.” Ezekiel 7:9 NCV

Now reconsider Hebrews 10:26 in the context of the above two verses. Any Christian [regardless of status] that teaches your sin no longer matters to God if you claim Jesus is a liar. The Spirit of God told me that they are “toast” and nothing but false prophets lying to God’s people.

God speaks out against lying prophets [teachers] in Ezekiel 13.

God says: “Say to those who make up their own prophecies: ‘Listen to the word of the Lord.’ ” Ezekiel 13:2 NCV
