Chapter 11: God’s Eternal Character

Those who claim to walk with God will readily acknowledge Jesus Christ because the Spirit of God will testify to the truth of Jesus. Here again, it is Jesus Christ who explains this fact.

“It is written in the prophets, ‘and they shall all be taught by God.’ Therefore everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to me.” John 6:45

I bear witness for God of the teaching of Jesus. For God has taught me and I readily come to His only begotten Son Jesus. God has a bigger picture and in that picture Jesus plays the role of His perfect sacrifice, which puts an end to willful sin in those who believe. There will not be another

sacrifice in the temple next week or month so you can get forgiveness for your evil ways “again.” The blood of Jesus, combined with the Holy Spirit puts an end to willful sin. This is why Jesus informed us that there are no more excuses for sin. Jesus brings us back to God through repentance.

Jesus

If you truly have Jesus, you have come back to God through him. It started when God sent Jesus Christ to call us back to repentance and eternal

life. When Jesus rose, he asked God to send us a helper. God sent His Holy Spirit, which is the Spirit of truth [not lies]. The Spirit testifies to us that what Jesus taught is true. Jesus taught us to return to the Father, his God.
