Do you get the picture? All three of the major world religions claim to worship the very same God based on these texts and the interpretations of those texts. All claim to be direct descendants of the same father Abraham. All three should now go back and reexamine their theologies to see if they

still line up with the eternal character of the God of Abraham. That includes adhering to the righteousness of God. In the simplest terms, the following definitions13 should apply to the practitioners of these three religions.

Hebrew Someone who established a personal

relationship with God because of the teachings of Moses, the Torah and the Tanakh.

Christian Someone who established a personal

relationship with God because of the teachings of Jesus Christ and the Holy Bible.

Muslim Someone who established a personal

relationship with God because of the teachings of Mohammed and the Quran [Koran].

Moses, the judges and prophets did not come to teach us we should

worship them, their coffins, gravesites or their other personal artifacts. They all taught us to worship only the One God Almighty. Jesus Christ did not come to teach us to worship him. Jesus taught us to worship the One God Almighty. Mohammed taught the same thing. So, exactly who and what do

you worship if you too claim to belong to the God of Abraham?

Do you remember that it all starts with your heart? Therefore, another eternal characteristic of God is this: He searches the earth for those people who have a loyal heart to Him. The Living Bible says God is “looking for

people whose hearts are perfect towards Him.” Exactly where is your heart in relationship to the God of Abraham? That is the God, which I describe.

“For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the

whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him.” 2 Chronicles 16:9
