7. To forgive others like God forgives us. 8. To ask God to deliver us from sin, temptation and the evil one.

Perhaps you still hold onto the mistaken believe that Jesus is God in

spite of the numerous Scriptures that I have already provided you with. If so, you have to believe that Jesus has the character and attributes of God in all respects. In other words, all of God’s attributes and characteristics belong to Jesus. Given prior Scripture references, this would probably mean you are not serious about God’s Holy Word and is also an indication of the

need for a heart check up. Is it possible that Christian dogma or the word of your pastor or bishop is more important than the word of God to you? If Jesus was God, then the God that Moses talked to had to be Jesus. Right? Then consider this biblical teaching on God’s character.

Moses went up to the mountain as God commanded to receive a second set of stone tablets of the Ten Commandments. The story is in Exodus 33. At one point, Moses asked God to show him His [God’s] Glory.

God responds to Moses with the following eternal characteristic of His.

But He [God] said, “You cannot see My face; for no man [flesh] shall see Me, and live.” Exodus 33:20

An important characteristic of God is that no human flesh [man] shall see God and live to tell about it. Now ask yourself how many humans saw and dealt with Jesus Christ during his ministry on earth. If this is a true

attribute of God as God Himself states, then how can Jesus have been 100% God like so many preachers assert today? It can’t be.

The story doesn’t stop there. God explains exactly how He will protect Moses from mortal death by even accidentally seeing God’s face.

God says He will cover Moses with His hand as He passes in front of him so “My face shall not be seen” and you shall live! Who is right? God’s Word or the preacher?

And the Lord said, “Here is a place by Me, and you shall stand on the rock. So it shall be, while My glory passes by, that I will put you in the cleft of the rock, and will cover you
