commit their souls to Him in doing good, as to a faithful CREATOR.” 1 Peter 4:19

“Do not fear any of those things which you are about to

suffer. — Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.” Rev. 2:10

If you are a true believer and you do not suffer in this earthly world,

you should be concerned. It might be time for a heart check up. Do I worship a God that expects all of us to suffer? The answer is no. However, you cannot dismiss the teachings of Jesus and the apostles that tell us we will suffer. When you understand that you are not a friend of this world and that you are an alien like I am, you can understand why the world may target

you. And the more power you exert for God in this world, the more of a target you become for Satan. The devil doesn’t care about those mediocre Christians who won’t even talk about God to their close friends. Get it?

Now, think about all the false preaching that teaches Christians just the opposite. If you are suffering, you must not be tithing. Heard that one? Listen, God will take care of these false teachers in His timing. Just study the issue of suffering in the Bible and learn the truth about it. Then focus on

your endurance when it comes. I have been in various degrees of physical pain for the last 23 years following a couple of accidents. In the early 1980’s I took 5,000 – 8,000 mg of Motrin to just take the edge off of back pain. I am happy to report I am better than I was in those days, but I still

have a lot of persistent pain. The more I use the computer, the more pain I experience. In one accident, I damaged some tissue behind my right shoulder blade. Every time I am at the computer for any length of time, I suffer greatly. Yet, here I am anyway. I don’t complain of pain, because I

have to put it in the perspective of what my mother and father suffered. I have nothing compared to their physical sufferings. The best pain medicine I know of is to just get on with your life; that is what my parents did.

Real Believers Will Suffer On This Earth!
