The arrows at the right and left of the graphic above represent the spiritual forces in life putting pressure on the soul to join up with the spirit

and move right to be with God or to join up with the flesh [body] and move left to be with Satan. If you are not consciously walking with God you are not walking with Him. That is why the Spirit testifies to our spirit concerning everlasting life. Those who have it actually know it.

Those Walking In The Spirit, Consciously Know It!

When I was only 14 years old I kissed Jackie for the very first time. I knew at that brief moment in my life that she was the girl for me. I swung

wide open the door of my heart to her soul. Life was never the same after that kiss. Now, for only the second time that I can recall, I swung the door wide open again. This time I did it at age 32 and that significant other was God Almighty. When you can understand the facts that we all guard our

hearts closely and are fearful of letting people that close to us, you can understand the significance of opening up your own heart to God. Let’s face the reality of exactly where heartbreak comes from. It comes from those who reside in your heart. When you understand that if we walk with God,

there can be no second place for Him — you will appreciate why He must reside inside your heart. That is where your true love for anyone will reside.

I guarded my heart from anyone other than Jackie because no one ever

taught me how to really open it up to God or for that matter that I even had to. Then, there is the matter of the wedding band that was around my heart for Jackie. Let me explain our wedding rings and their significance.

When I gave Jackie’s eulogy, I made note of the symbolism of her missing wedding ring. I had the wedding ring she had worn for thirty-nine years taken off of her hand. In its place, I had a crucifix placed within her hands. The crucifix has Jesus nailed to the cross; it is different than just a

blank cross. God had showed me Jackie holding this crucifix when I chose the casket. He literally showed me a vision of her lying inside the casket with the crucifix between her hands. It brought tears to my eyes then, even as it does now.
