We have been given the power of a strong mind and Paul taught us that with the “mind” we will serve the law of God and that with the “flesh”

[body] we serve the law of sin. God doesn’t make a play on your emotions to get anything out of you. God will come in through the front door of your mind and then tug at the door of your heart. When your mind is convinced, you yourself will willingly open up the door of your heart to God Almighty.

In contrast, Satan will come through the back door of your emotions. He will use your flesh [body] to manipulate your emotions to get into your heart in a false and evil way. You should beware of any ministry that trades on the emotions of the crowd on a regular basis. God has said: “Come and let

us reason together” and reason transcends our human emotions. Get it?
