The controversy over whether Jesus is God seems ridiculous to me in light of the many scriptures that teach exactly the opposite, especially the recorded words of Jesus Christ. While this matter will be dealt with more fully later, consider these scriptures from the Apostle John if you want to

understand our God.

“Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him and he in God.” 1 John 4:15

“Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?” 1 John 5:5

Apostle John makes it clear that Christ is not God Almighty as does

the prior verses of Jesus that were cited. You will never understand God if you persist in trying to morph Jesus into God. Indeed, the word of God makes it plain to us that there is a different and special relationship. Then there are also clear statements from Christ that the Father is his God. Look

at this plain and simple statement from Jesus Christ in Scripture.

“I am going back to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.” John 20:17 NCV

When You Treat Jesus As The Son, You’ll Understand!

Jesus and the other apostles of God have not come to give you a pass

on your sins as much of modern Christian mythology teaches. Instead, they all call you back into obedience of God’s simple commandments. When you obey the simple commandments of God, you wind up back into the loving arms of our heavenly Father [God]. God has not changed and Christ is not

God; that doctrine is Christian mythology. God’s call back to obedience through Christ and the other apostles should be natural to all of mankind as God has set Himself into the hearts and minds of everyone. We inherently all know what is right and wrong. What is missing is the choice to obey and to stop rationalizing away our sins and spiritual responsibilities.
