Those who decide to just be a good citizen automatically wind up

obeying a majority of the Ten Commandments with that simple decision. It is a simple choice for all of us to obey the laws of our country: to be a good citizen. Yet some people choose to be criminals.

The choice with God is just as simple. You don’t need Christ to obey the Ten Commandments; you only need an obedient heart. Yet some choose to be lawless. It is one of the reasons that Christ said: “I never knew you; depart from me, you who practice lawlessness.” Jesus could have told you

that you never committed your heart 100% to God and that you chose to operate on both sides of the line of righteous. In a world that teaches you can have it all, you thought that also applied to the turfs of righteousness and unrighteousness. That you could operate on both sides. That you could have you cake and eat it also. You should understand that God Almighty

does not like second place. Remember God’s first commandment?

Indeed, which of God’s Ten Commandments cannot be obeyed without Jesus Christ? Do you think that God Almighty gave those

instructions to dumb people who could not obey them? No, created in the image of our God, we have all been given “the power of a strong mind.” Obeying God’s Commandments therefore really boils down to where our heart and spiritual choice is with God. This is NOT a matter of espousing

Christ from our mouth. That is the stuff of Christian mythology.

What does it really mean to be born again? It doesn’t mean accepting Christ so you can have a pass on your sins. That too is the stuff of Christian

mythology. Being born again means giving your heart 100% to God Almighty and choosing to be His servant with or without the benefit of Jesus Christ. That means everyone throughout the world can choose God!

The false doctrine of Jesus being God will be dealt with later. For now, think about the statement: “You cannot obey the Ten Commandments. Nobody can. That is why you need Jesus.” This seems simple enough to verify in scriptures. If what the Bible says contradicts Charles Stanley,
