Chapter 8: Understanding God’s Word

Who did Jesus speak for? Whose deeds did he perform? The Bible is
clear that God the Father imbued Jesus Christ with the power of His Holy Spirit. Jesus was God’s messenger and represented God on this earth. He had a job to do for God and Jesus made this very clear to mankind.
“He [the Father] who sent me is true.” John 7:28
“I can of myself do nothing.” John 5:20
“I [Jesus] fully obey God.” John 8:55
“I must work the works of Him [God] who sent me.” John 9:4
“Nor is he who is sent [Jesus] greater than [God].” John 13:16
The same kind of understanding that God Almighty placed earlier into Bezaleel for the building of His temple He put into Jesus Christ so the kingdom of God could be properly preached and taught to others. Neither
Bezaleel nor Jesus had to attend a seminary school. That is not how God Almighty works. The scriptures below illustrate some of the characteristics that they received from God. They can belong to you when you give God the unquestionable loyalty of your heart.
“For the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say.” Luke 12:12
“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.” John 14:26
“But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things,
and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him.” 1 John 2:27
