Not everything in the Bible is as easy to understand as the above

illustration between the word of God and Charles Stanley’s false doctrine. I estimate that ninety-eight percent of the Bible is exoteric in nature. This means that 98% of the Bible is meant to be understood by all who read it. The remaining two percent of the Bible is esoteric in nature. Only a few

people will understand the spiritual implications in the esoteric parts of the Bible. This is by God’s design and it is nothing for you to be concerned with. The 98% that God intends for you to understand can be illustrated as:

You will not get in trouble with God because you do not understand some cryptic esoteric passage of Scripture. Likewise, it doesn’t matter if

you cannot keep up with whom begets whom. Understanding genealogy will not impede your entrance into Heaven. You will get in trouble with God because you fail to observe the very basics of His commandments. It is items like the Ten Commandments and behavior that demonstrates true

repentance. God has intended for you to understand the Bible, almost in its entirety (98% or more). Once again, your understanding “requires” a dedicated heart.
