The above-cited scriptures raise some very interesting questions since

neither Job, Abraham, Zacharias nor Elizabeth had the benefit of “accepting Jesus in their hearts.” In every instance, Jesus was not even born yet. So who was in their hearts? It was God Almighty that was in their hearts.

Who was it that they obeyed? It was God Almighty. What was it that they obeyed? It was the “commandments and ordinances” of God. The next time that some pastor teaches that you cannot be righteous, point out the fact that the Bible illustrates the opposite instructions. The Nicolaitans like to

misquote Paul in this area. When Paul stated that “no one is righteous,” he was lamenting like King David did about the seemingly unrighteousness of humanity as a whole. I too lament today over the seemingly unrighteousness of the Christian community as a whole. I also lament over the unadulterated and unchecked apostasy from the leaders of the Christian Church.

Is Charles Stanley right or is the word of God right? Don’t try to tell me that you cannot discern the difference between Stanley’s assertions that you cannot obey the Ten Commandments and the Bible references that

directly contradict his false doctrine. If you cannot discern the difference, then you are one of the Christians that Jesus is talking about when he said, “I never knew you.”

If you think you cannot make the choice because you would have to study the Hebrew or Greek behind the above cited verses, you are also one of those Jesus is talking about. This is an example of the plain and simple language of the Bible and how it is being perverted. If you cannot relate to

the importance of this apostasy, you are simply not meant to. Go about your earthly business. If you can relate, then hold your pastor accountable for the teachings from his or her pulpit. Make sure those teachings conform to the Bible you base your salvation on. This is NOT a game; it is eternity!

I am amused by the notion that you can just pick and choose what you want to believe in the Bible. God’s Holy Bible is a 100% take it or leave it proposition. If you can’t understand the basics, reassess where you heart is.
