Job Was Blameless & Upright!

“There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was blameless and upright, and one who feared God and shunned evil.” Job 1:1

Abraham Believed God!

“For what does the Scripture say? Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” Romans 4:3

Zacharias & Elizabeth Were Both Righteous!

“There was … a certain priest named Zacharias, of the division of Abijah. His wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her

name was Elizabeth. And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.” Luke 1:5-6

There comes a very basic and fundamental question that confronts

every true believer who has a heart for God. Should you believe the learned pastor or should you believe the written word of God? While every pastor admonishes their congregation to read the written word of God, few people actually do read it. Believe me, the pastor knows this fact. Those who start

to read and study the word of God in any serious way will have to confront this basic question of whom they will believe sooner or later.

What will it be? God’s Word in the plain and simple language He has

given or the pastor’s doctrine? Given the power of a strong mind that God has provided, it cannot be both ways. That is to say, the pastor cannot teach opposite of the word of God with impunity. Who makes the apostasy call? You do. It is done based on your knowledge of Scripture.
