Myth—Everybody Gets To Go

At least on this point, the Qur’an has it right. We are not supposed to worship anyone other than God Almighty. Jesus’ own teachings supports

this section of the Qur’an. What will you say to God to explain why you are engaged in idolatry by worshipping Jesus or his mother Mary? How did Christianity devolve into so much apostasy? I don’t know, but I do know exactly what is coming down. Jesus explained it all and there exists those

people who will listen to the teachings of Jesus and those who will not listen. Don’t expect him to know you if you don’t know who he is.

Then Jesus said to him, “Away with you, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him

only you shall serve.’ ” Matthew 4:10

“But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for

the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” John 4:23-24

Yet you say, Edward, people worshipped Jesus in the Bible? So what! Jesus never taught them to worship anyone but God Almighty or in the vernacular of the Qur’an “Allah.” Furthermore, Jesus taught us to pray to God, told us that his God was our God and even went so far as to indicate

we should stop asking of him [Jesus] and instead ask directly of the Father in his name. To honor Jesus, means obeying him. It means worshipping the Father, his God and ours. It means asking of the Father in Jesus’ name. It means praying to God and not to Jesus. The opposite common Christian

practices represent idolatry and means that the person committing them has never “received an understanding of Him who sent Jesus.” They did not find “the way” back to God’s righteousness, which is the word of God.

Jesus said, “And in that day you will ask me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in my name He will give you. Until now you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may

be full.” John 16:23-24
