Myth—Everybody Gets To Go

Is Hitler Really In Heaven?

Walsch writes that God says: “I do not love ‘good’ more than I love ‘bad.’ Hitler went to Heaven. When you can understand this [fact], you will understand God [Me].” 3

In Walsch’s mind, there is no “good” or “evil” and God doesn’t prefer one over the other. Where did such debased spiritual ideas originate? From orthodox trinitarian theology, that’s where. It is the genesis that now intellectually excuses all evil as long as you mouth Jesus as your savior. If

there is one difference between Walsch’s New Age dogma and orthodox trinitarian Christianity, I suspect it is the nuance in orthodox doctrine that a Christian must be able to “mouth” Jesus. I don’t think Walsch cares and his writings indicate it is irrelevant. Let’s look at the spiritual psychobabble

contained in Book 1 of Walsch’s three-volume book set.

“Feelings are the language of the soul.” 4

Comment: If this was true, it negates the need for wisdom and knowledge of God since you simply listen to your feelings. Feelings are a part of our human makeup, but they do not negate the need for reason! I hope this fact is now very clear in

your mind from prior chapters.

“The Bible is not an authoritative source of knowledge of God.” 5

Comment: In the first eight pages of his book, Walsch asserts that God tells us to just go with our feelings and to ignore the Bible as a moral guide for our actions. If it feels good, do it!

“There is no Hell.” 6

“There is no evil.” 7

“You have no obligations to anyone in this life.” 8
