Myth—Everybody Gets To Go
God committed all judgment to Christ.
“For the Father judges no one, but has committed all judgment to the Son.” John 5:22
But all salvation does not rest in Christ’s judgment.
“Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” Rev. 7:10
“For as the Father raises the dead and gives life to them, even so the Son gives life to whom he will.” John 5:21
“For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted
the Son to have life in himself, and has given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of Man [God’s only begotten human Son Jesus].” John 5:26-27
There are many sons [and daughters] of God. I myself am a son of God. As such I am a brother of Jesus Christ. However, there is only one who is the human begotten Son of God. That is Christ who came down from Heaven and became Jesus Christ, the incarnate word of God on earth. If you
want to understand, then you must recognize how precious the blood of Jesus really was. It was precious enough for God Almighty to transfer all judgment issues to Christ. It was precious enough for God Almighty to grant Christ the authority to give life to “whom he will.” Therefore, God has
a group of people in Heaven and Jesus also has a group of people in Heaven. In addition there are two other groups that are judged by Christ, but are sent into the lake of fire and second death.
When you reflect back on the moral silence of “good people” and the “political good intentions” of other people—consider the congregation of the church and the influence of its pastors. I’ve told you about the defrocked lesbian minister in her Methodist church. Certainly she is guilty of spiritual
violence against the church at large and specifically against God Almighty. This and other mainline churches have many “works” directed at the needy.
