Myth—Everybody Gets To Go

One Group Already Passed From Death To Life!

“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears my [Jesus’] word and believes in Him who sent me [already] has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.” John 5:24

“I assure you, those who listen to my [Jesus’] message and believe in God who sent me have eternal life. They will never be condemned for their sins, but they have already

passed from death into life.” John 5:24 NLT

“And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true;

and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. [The Father] is the true God and eternal life.” 1 John 5:20

Everyone in my Bible study group, including myself, believes in

YAHWEH or God the Father who sent Jesus. We are taught by Jesus, since we firmly and sincerely hold to that belief, that we already have eternal life and we “shall not come into judgment.” Who taught this? Again, Jesus did. Having studied the above verses you should now realize that those who

believe in God and not just His Son already have eternal life. They will not receive judgment. You should also realize that those who sincerely believe in only Jesus would get eternal life when they are picked up on the last day. There is a last day issue here. What does it all mean? I am not completely

sure, but this much I know. Those who believe in God belong to Him and they also go to the King, our Lord Jesus Christ. To use a Monopoly game metaphor, these people bypass jail and collect $200. In this instance it means bypassing Christ’s judgment and receiving eternal life before we die.

If you believe this teaching of Jesus Christ, then you ought to study more carefully everything he has taught us about the Father he serves.

Jesus said, “I am ascending to my Father and your Father, and to my God and your God.” John 20:17
