Myth—Everybody Gets To Go
Do you remember the story of King Belshazzar? I taught you this story earlier. It is an example of how a human can so offend God that God
would literally slay the human. That night this is exactly what God did and he gave Belshazzar’s kingdom to the Medes and Persians. You would do well to restudy this story in Daniel if you do not understand that God is weighing all of us on His spiritual balance scales. In the three groups that
pass under the judgment of Jesus, that is what is being done. It is December 12, 2004 and while out at dinner tonight, I was reviewing the prior pages. God’s Spirit came upon me and reminded me of his balance scales and the fact that our nation as a whole and U.S. Christians fit exactly the criteria that
Jesus explained. Consider the 50/50 Christian vote. God reminded me that 50% or more of all Christians would actually go to Hell. He told me it is the simple difference between being lawful or lawless unto Him.

Lawful Lawless
To understand God’s perspective, you only need to reconsider a prior
verse I cited, 1 John 5:20. Those who can claim Jesus as savior have come to a full understanding of God. Ergo, they believe in God and are doers of His Word. Those rejected in-group four (4) as lawless never did receive an understanding of God the Father. Ergo, Jesus never knew them.
“And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ.
This [Father] is the true God and eternal life.” 1 John 5:20 Copyright 2005 Edward G. Palmer, All Rights Reserved. Book of Edward—Chapter 21
