Chapter 6: The Heart of an Apostle

Did God’s message on salvation to mankind ever change? No, it
didn’t. From time immemorial the salvation message is fundamentally the same. When Christ started preaching, he said: “Repent for the kingdom of Heaven is at hand.” [Matthew 4:17] Today, the message I write is the same, with some added emphasis directed at those who call themselves Christian.
However, this is the same basic message from God. It is “repentance [first] and salvation [second],” exactly in that order.
I was waiting for the first question to arrive concerning the audacity to
call myself an apostle. After all, aren’t there only 12 apostles in totality? This is a common ignorance in the church at large. How can there be another one rising up in the twenty-first century? It was a predictable question from a Christian more concerned about authority than God’s Holy Word.
So Edward, “Exactly who appointed you an apostle?”
My answer is the same as Paul’s. I serve God first and Christ second.
Like Paul, my apostleship is “not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and of God the Father.”
The message I received from God: Is to explain to Christians
why many, if not a majority, will be going to Hell instead of Heaven. I write nothing new! Instead, as God has commanded of me, I remind you, who claim to be the salt of the earth, the words God has already provided. His message has always been
the same one to mankind. REPENT and BE SAVED!
The next question came from the heart of a sincere believer, a seeker of truth, who gently asked: “Ed, do you really consider yourself to be an
apostle?” I responded: “This is something that I struggled with for many years. I also ignored God’s call for over two years. If an apostle is someone with a message from God, then yes, I am indeed an apostle. For surely God has given me a message to deliver to all of Christianity.” I might add that
God’s Spirit has been relentless on me for many years to get His message out. When this book is done, I will have completed God’s main task.
