When there is no Hebrew or Greek root word cited, it only means that

the translators have “added” the word into play. It could be an excellent word based on the resources the translators had available; but you need to understand that it was chosen vs. actually being a part of an original Hebrew or Greek manuscript. Other translations use a phrase like “convincing

evidence” in Acts 1:3. Yes, God inspired the Holy Bible. However, it is not infallible [inerrant] and the above verses should suffice to make that point to you. I might note that God continues to this day to inspire writers.

Your ability to discern whether or not a writer is actually inspired by God instead of Satan is simple. Does Holy Scripture back the writer’s thoughts? In other words, can the writer help you connect the dots between different Scripture so you can SEE THE TRUTH OF SCRIPTURE FOR YOURSELF? Or, do you need to take a leap of faith to accept the writer’s

points? If the Scriptures do not speak for themselves as presented by the writer [speaker, teacher or apostle], it is a sign that they ARE NOT OF God.

Scripture Citations Connect the Dots

In the above illustration, a teacher [etc.] walks you through various Scriptures needed to illustrate a spiritual principle to you. Scriptures speak

for themselves in full support of the discussion and main points that the speaker is trying to get across. For example, in the cited Scriptures on King James, did you have to take my word for it that the King James Bible is errant? Or, can you see for yourself from the Scriptures I cited? Note: It is

up to you to check all Scripture citations. One of Satan’s tricks is to quote non-existent Bible verses to an ignorant congregation either lacking Bibles or the conviction “to test the spirit” for truth [look up the citation].
