Therefore, even the King James Bible acknowledges and distinguishes

that there exists a condition called “willful sin.” Intellectually, it doesn’t take much to surmise that there then must also be a condition called unwillful sin. What could that be? It could be sin that you are not even aware of or even simply unintended sin. These two types of sin were cited

earlier in the chapter on repentance [page 44]. God’s Word makes it clear to us that even if we are unaware of our sins, He will still hold us accountable for them. However, Christ is our propitiation for those types of sin for God.

Christ is not a blanket that covers a life of wickedness. However, his blood does cover “unknown and unintentional” types of sin for us. Yes, it means that we are not 100% perfect on our own as the Thursday night truth squad tried to assert. The moderator shouted back: “That’s blasphemy!” Few things are tantamount to this. However, the idea that we become 100%

“perfect” [instantly] in the sense these men postulated is indeed blasphemy.
