While the debate over which Bible translation is the best rages on, it

important to realize that they are all prone to similar types of errors as shown above in the King James. Some have curious quirks to them. Some have suspicious things about them. Still, all do seem to agree on the important principles of God. Curiously, despite this general agreement and the fact

that the translations are pretty much 99% error free, various doctrines exist today in Christianity that do, actually contradict established biblical text.

If you have the heart of an apostle, the truth of God’s Holy Word is more important to you than the translation [or book, teacher or apostle] from which it came.

Yes, God’s truth is also more important than the notion of being 100%

perfect on our own or having, in our possession, an inerrant Bible. Having learned Satan’s tricks for taking you off course with biblical instruction inside the church, what else can you do? What also keeps you smart enough to discern God’s truth? It is simply “abiding in His Word.”

“Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, if ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; [32] and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you

free.” John 8:31-32 KJV

The New King James states: “If you abide in my word.” The message is simply that God’s Word is the truth for our life here on planet earth and

our ability or lack of ability to discern truth is directly connected to our knowledge of the Bible and whether or not we “abide in it [the Bible].” Secondly, as your walk with God grows strong, His Spirit will set all things straight for you in accordance with what the Apostle John taught us.

“But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in

him.” 1 John 2:27 KJV
