An even more subtle way that Satan deceives believers is to simply

“misquote” Scripture ever so slightly. Off just enough to make it convincing to you that Scripture itself connects the dots. However, unwittingly, you wind up accepting lies instead of God’s truth. Do not accept misquoted Bible Scripture from any teacher. Once you realize the speaker is inserting

error or his own opinion into Scripture, you need to confront them and get out. If you have the heart of an apostle, you will not tolerate apostasy in any form from those who profess they know God’s Word.

Many churches have congregations that do not even carry a Bible. While some churches have Bibles located under the pews, the message is clear that you do not have to read the Bible to attend “our congregation.” I tell you that if you do not read the Bible, you can never know God’s truth and whether you are in God’s house or Satan’s house. Many churches are

nothing less than elaborate and deceptive dens of Satan. If you are ignorant of the Holy Bible, how will you tell which house you are actually in? If you call yourself a believer in Christ, do you not also see a responsibility to the word of God?

Leap of Faith Required for Dots to Connect

In the above illustration Scripture citations do not connect to one another to support the Bible teaching. Instead, you need to take a leap of faith from one Scripture to the next. Often, this leap of faith, is taking the teacher at his or her opinion. Sometimes it is accepting errant Scripture that

you know does not line up with your Bible. This is the work of Satan in the church today. The teachings are designed to take you off God’s truth.
