Characteristics of The Gift of Jesus

I. Fellowship Attributes

1. We return to direct fellowship with God. 2. God dwells within us.

3. One or more of God’s seven Spirits dwell within us. 4. God pours His Spirit of truth on us abundantly. 5. The spirit of Christ dwells within us. 6. We have access to the Holies of Holies anytime.

7. We live and walk in God’s light just as Jesus did. 8. We are obedience to God’s commandments. 9. We teach the truth that righteousness matters to God. 10. We ask of God directly and no longer ask of Jesus.

11. We are faithful to God even unto our own physical death.

II. Salvation Attributes

1. Jesus brings us back to his God, our heavenly Father. 2. Jesus is the teacher sent by God to correct our errors. 3. Jesus gives us an understanding of God so we can obey Him. 4. Jesus willingly did his part in God’s plan to redeem souls.

5. Jesus willingly gave his own human life to redeem mankind. 6. Jesus gave his own blood as a final perfect sacrifice for man. 7. Jesus gave his own blood as a spiritual atonement for man. 8. The blood of Jesus was the propitiation for the sins of the world.

9. The blood of Jesus was God’s way of justifying man’s existence. 10. Jesus was the incarnation of Christ whom God sent from Heaven. 11. Jesus first died a spiritual death on the cross. 12. Jesus secondly died a physical death on the cross.

13. Jesus suffered crucifixion on the cross like any human would. 14. God resurrected Jesus into a perfect body. 15. Jesus is another chance for God’s people to return to Him. 16. Jesus is a new opportunity for all gentiles to walk with God.

17. Jesus is not an excuse for any continued willful sin. 18. Jesus fills our righteousness gap when we make mistakes. 19. Jesus petitioned God to send back to man the Spirit of truth. 20. God sent back His Spirit of truth to guide our earthly lives.
