3 The majority of mankind succumbed to the evil side and finally

during the time of Noah, God destroyed all that was on the earth except those with Noah. It was Satan who won the majority of souls at the time of Noah, because man chose to follow Satan’s influence. Noah and family started to rebuild life on earth. It was

a fresh start. However, mankind rekindled its desire to sin and Satan was again gaining ground with man. God in response sent many deliverers including Moses, the Judges and the Prophets. Clearly man listened for a short time during their presence, but he soon resumed his evil ways.

4 God in His compassion and grace decided to make a way for those who would choose to follow Him. His ultimate plan was to dwell

once again with those who chose Him. The first part of this plan unfolded when God sent Christ down to become Jesus. In order for God to come dwell again with man, His justice for our collective sin had to be satisfied. Jesus willingly went to the cross

as atonement to God for the collective sin of mankind. Christ prayed and requested that God send His Holy Spirit to man. This was the next step in God’s larger plan.

5 As a result of the cross, God did send His Spirit back to earth to once again dwell with those who would choose to serve Him. The combination of Christ’s earthly ministry and the coming of the

Holy Spirit functioned as a permanent offset to the strong influence to sin from Satan. The direct verbal input that Adam received from God was replaced by a quieter input into our soul from God’s Holy Spirit. To hear God speak now requires that we

make a strong effort from our heart in a calm and quiet manner. That is why God said: “Be Still and Know Me!” God in His infinite wisdom knows that the majority of man’s souls will once again be lost to sin as a result of Satan’s influence. However, for

those who choose God, He gives the Spirit of truth to show their souls the way home to a heavenly domain. Few find the way because the forces in this world warring against the spirit are very strong. It will take 100% of your heart from within the bowels of

your soul to overcome the world’s forces you face if you choose to walk in God’s light.
