Jesus was a gift of God to settle His need for justice. It was a final

atonement for the collective sins of mankind. The result of that atonement is the pouring out upon man of God’s Holy Spirit. However, this is only done for those who are obedient to the word of God. Jesus states clearly that it is those who obey what he said who would receive the gift of fellowship with

God. What Jesus said was only what God had told him to say. Therefore, true obedience is the acceptance of God’s Word and the adherence to it. God will only dwell within those who truly submit to His will.

God “draws” people to Jesus for his ministry and other purposes. Not all can come to Jesus, but only those who the Father draws.

“No one can come to me [Jesus] unless the Father [God] who sent me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last

day.” John 6:44

In the very next verse, Jesus makes it clear that all who are taught by God Almighty will come to him. This means that all Jews and Muslims who

truly know God and who submit to His Word will find and recognize Jesus Christ as their brother. Have you been taught by God? If so, God’s Spirit will confirm the truth of Jesus Christ and his sacrifice on the cross to you.

“It is written in the prophets, ‘and they shall all be taught by God.’ Therefore everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to me.” John 6:45

When John 6:44-45 are taken together, there is the direct implication that if you do not know the Father, you will not see the salvation of Christ!

“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears my word and

believes in Him [God] who sent me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life [even while still alive on this earth].” John 5:24

Jesus makes it clear that those who know God already have eternal life. Verily I say to you that this is the meaning of what Jesus taught.
