Once you understand each choice you make results in a directional movement towards either God or Satan, you will start to consciously ensure

that the choices you make are righteous choices made from your heart. This is when you demonstrate spiritual maturity to God. You are then on your way to eternal life living on the level where you are a “partaker of the Holy Spirit ‘tasting’ the good word of God and the powers of the age to come.”

WARNING. If actually graduate to this level of spiritual maturity and you fall away [back into sin], it is then impossible to renew you once again to repentance. Why? It’s because “you’ve crucified for yourself the Son of God and put him to an open shame.” Rejection of righteousness at that level

of spiritual maturity makes a mockery of Christ’s sacrifice and disrespects God. Such people knew God intimately, but then blew Him off! This issue does not apply to the typical backslider and those who worship and pray to Jesus Christ. Neither of these groups is intimate with God operating at that

level of spiritual maturity. They can repent and rise to God’s righteousness. However, the warning does apply to a lot of evil Christians in society.
