Chapter 12: The False Salvation Doctrine

A Heart For God Values His Friendship!

Now, what do friends do for each other when they get in trouble? They stick up for one another, don’t they? So what if you really blow it big time with your friend? Do they condemn you? No, they don’t. It’s the same thing with God when He is your friend. You will not be perfect for

any close friend. There will be times of difficulty when you will need to just trust in the love your friend has for you to help you get through life.

Remember King David’s adultery with Bathsheba in the last chapter?

This is an excellent illustration for you to remember that when you walk with God, He will take care of you. If you blow it big time, it doesn’t mean you won’t suffer some consequences of your actions. However, it also does not mean you will be condemned by your friend. By way of illustration,

let’s return to the two-zone graphic of righteousness and unrighteousness.
